Welcome to my personal blog. Let me take you through a personal look into my life and the various elements that shape it.
Firstly, I'm a true believer in striking the right balance in life and amalgamating them into one holistic form- "LIFE." I talk about the most common aspects that matter most in my life which are; business, family, health, relationships and lifestyle. These will be different for everybody and the balance between them will also vary on an individual basis.
The old adage "Work Hard, Play Hard" is certainly not for the faint of heart but a view like this from your office window can help a lot. Joking aside, I found surrounding yourself with the right mix of people not only makes work pleasurable and exciting but serves as an institution for education...
The old adage "Work Hard, Play Hard" is certainly not for the faint of heart but a view like this from your office window can help a lot. Joking aside, I found surrounding yourself with the right mix of people not only makes work pleasurable and exciting but serves as an institution for education. People have a predisposed desire to improve and those people tend to attract other like-minded individuals, Talent attracts Talent.
I've been in the tech sector for as long as I remember, built my first computer when I was 10, landed my first software project at 15, traveled the world working in top-level management positions and now own a multinational software company. Business has been fast and continually evolving but one thing remains constant, people. I feel that people are a part of their environment and as an outsider, you must learn to adapt and alter your approach to get results. It took a lot of years learning this the hard way.

Friends play an important role in my life and serve as a great way to find balance between the other elements in life. A friend doesn't necessarily have to be human, as shown in the picture above!
The spiritual relationship element is something that has been passed onto me since my infancy. It doesn't matter what religion you are, I find having belief in a higher being serves to humble a person and that's a great trait.
It's remarkable how relationships find their way into every single piece of your life and the stronger your relationships are the stronger your business, family and health become.

It so happens that sport has always played in integral part of my life ever since childhood. Sport is something that I'm naturally passionate about and love.
As a small town Canadian boy I grew up playing ice hockey. I'm pretty sure it was the law and breaking the law would probably get you beat up on the school grounds as the odd boy out. To avoid public prosecution, I studied martial arts as a child. Began with Kung Fu and transitioned to Muay Thai kickboxing. Badminton was probably the sport where I showed the most promise, playing on the Canadian junior circuit and representing Alberta in National competitions. All this doesn't compare to my current utter fixation for the game GOLF. I would love to golf as a full time job, if it weren't for the fact that I'm not very good and would probably starve. Mind you, I could lose a few pounds.

Having the love and support of a family is paramount to happiness. I'm one of the luckiest men alive to have a beautiful loving wife who supports me in my endeavors. I have the love of my two young boys, who completely terrorize me when I'm working from home.. Is it wrong to erect a series of strategically placed baby gates to slow the troops down? ;-) I love my two boys with all my heart and would do anything for them.
We've lived in 3 different countries / continents in the past 3 years and have thoroughly been enjoying the experience of interacting with other families from various walks of life. It's amazing the difference between family interaction in Western versus Asian cultures. Remarkable is the undeniable similarities between all Asian cultures as though borders don't exist.
